Mission

The mission of the Public Institution Anykščiai Arts Incubator – Arts Studio is to strengthen the creative community in the Anykščiai district by fostering entrepreneurship, encouraging collaboration between artists and the wider community, and implementing high-quality cultural projects in visual and applied arts, literature, theatre, dance, and music.

We engage artists from Lithuania and abroad, promote the cultural identity of the city and the country, collaborate with youth arts institutions, and contribute to the development of a dynamic and forward-looking creative sector.

Goals

The Public Institution Anykščiai Arts Incubator – Arts Studio is committed to the following goals:

1. To provide incubation and business development services for artists and creative enterprises.
2. To foster the growth of the creative sector in the Anykščiai district by supporting the establishment and development of small and medium-sized creative businesses.
3. To bring together artists, creative professionals, and cultural entrepreneurs within a shared space that encourages collaboration and innovation.
4. To create opportunities for artistic creation and public presentation, enabling artists to develop and showcase their work.
5. To strengthen community engagement in cultural life and promote active public participation.
6. To contribute to the preservation and sustainable development of cultural heritage.

 

Main Activities

At Anykščiai Arts Incubator – Arts Studio, we focus on strengthening the creative ecosystem of the region through the following activities:

Creative Business Support

We provide incubation, mentoring, consulting, and training services for artists and creative entrepreneurs. We support the growth of creative businesses, encourage job creation, and help turn ideas into sustainable ventures.

Creative Spaces and Residencies

We offer workspaces and residency programmes for artists from Lithuania and abroad. Our facilities provide an inspiring environment for creation, collaboration, and professional development.

Cultural Projects and Events

We organize exhibitions, performances, festivals, and interdisciplinary cultural projects in visual and applied arts, literature, theatre, dance, and music, contributing to the cultural vitality of the region.

Sector Development and Innovation

We research and monitor the development of creative industries in the district, initiate strategic development projects, and promote innovation and the integration of new technologies in creative practice.

Partnerships and International Cooperation

We collaborate with national and international partners, participate in support programmes and joint projects, and actively represent the Anykščiai creative sector in Lithuania and abroad.

Sustainable Operations

We ensure the effective management of creative spaces, including the rental and operation of facilities that support the growth of the creative industries.
