Silk painting lesson – a creative activity that brings family, friends, or colleagues closer together.
A silk scarf is stretched over a frame and painted with special washable paints. The instructor will choose a simple technique that will allow both those who enjoy painting and those who are holding a brush for the first time to experience the joy of creativity. You can improvise freely on silk or use stencils prepared in advance by the artist, so feel free to try silk painting and invite your friends and colleagues, regardless of their age or profession.
Participants can create individual works or collaborate on joint projects, e.g., in pairs or families. Please let us know your preferences in advance and coordinate the program with the instructor.
The painted silk is heat-set with an iron, rinsed, dried, and is then ready to be tied around the neck or hung on the wall as a picture. The instructor will demonstrate a simple ironing technique.
